If you notice any of these heart attack warning signs, don't wait for help. Some heart attacks are sudden and intense. But most start out slowly, with mild pain or discomfort. Take care of your body and call 911 if you experience:
i) Chest discomfort: Most heart attacks are center chest discomfort that lasts for more than a few minutes or goes away and then comes back. It can feel like uncomfortable pressure, tightness, fullness, or pain.
ii) Discomfort in other areas of the upper body: Symptoms can include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, back, neck, jaw, or abdomen.
iii) Shortness of breath: This can happen with or without chest discomfort.
iv) Other Signs: Other possible signs include cold sweats, nausea, or dizziness.
